About Delaram Keramani

I was born in an artistic family, my father is calligrapher and my mother is a painter, my father is one of the most famous calligraphers in Iran. My interest and love for art started at a young age. It was impossible not to be an artist in that environment.

I was only ten years old when my painting won first place in a national competition and they gave me a prize ,It was a great encouragement and I realized that I need to develop this art even more, I took good lessons and I opened my first solo exhibition at 16 years old.

I published about 20 watercolor works in this exhibition at my hometown Tabriz ,After that I realized that I had an interest in oil painting and got training in this technique. Then I realized that I need to learn this art academically and went to university for more education and more information.

I got both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in painting, I will do my master’s degree in Tehran, but in the meantime, again I participate in many group Exhibition at Tehran and Tabriz. 

Before I started my master’s degree, I held an exhibition of paintings from the original collection of contemporary human  perplexity, which was all in oil painting technique in 1 in 1 size. I sold my paintings to a private collector in a private gallery that name kiyawash art gallery . After that, I went to Tehran and participated in many group exhibitions. I worked as a painting teacher at a private Institute for about 15 years.

In these years one of my water-color portrait painting attracted special attention in group exhibition at Fabriano in Italy, and a special certificate was sent to me instantly in the exhibition that was there by the city museum, meanwhile, I started to focus on other techniques, such as acrylic pastel and color-pencil, where I tried to work with this technique and some of my works were very successful.

I do a special concept work from time to time, I’m working on the loneliness of human beings, I continued this collection of contemporary Human perplexity during my master’s studies and it was the subject of my dissertation the approach of appropriation of famous Iranian artists construction.
